*Valeria Cavestany is a Fil-Spanish multimedia artist who lives between the Philippines and Spain. Her mother is Filipina and her father was Spanish. She studied textile design in Barcelona and Chinese painting in the Philippines. She graduated with honors from UP in Philippine & Asian history then she had a stint as a fashion designer.

Besides painting, she loves doing tapestries and industrial design. Her Catalan thrifty side makes her to recycle or reuse everything... and a great example is her reinvented second generation of wine crates

She has been creating a specific line for TXANTON art related to wine and food since our beginnings in 2015.
