Good to Know: Vincent Dancer belongs to a group of young and dynamic wine growers who have been at the forefront of driving progress in Burgundy. Raised in Alsace, Vincent inherited his father’s profound passion for wine. Following the completion of his engineering studies, it was his father who recommended that Vincent explore the vineyards of Burgundy. At that time, the Dancer family-owned vineyards were being leased to relatives. However, it was not long before Vincent recognized the immense potential of these strategically located vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet and made the decision to settle there. In 1996, the Domaine was officially established.

Dancer, known for his unwavering pursuit of perfection, holds himself to a stringent criterion when it comes to associating his name with any product. Only when he is completely satisfied does he deem it worthy of bearing his endorsement. Any wine falling short of his exceptional standards is promptly offered to local négociants for sale.

Vincent Dancer Meursault Les Corbins, accredited as Certified Organic, this wine originates from a specific vineyard block established in 1986 on Bathonian limestone blended with pebbles. Situated on the lower section of the slope, Les Corbins sits just north of the Meursault village, neighboring Les Criots and Clos de la Barre. We adhere to a meticulous winemaking approach, beginning with native yeast fermentation and refraining from adding any enhancements. This wine undergoes natural malolactic fermentation and avoids battonage. Maturation occurs in approximately 20-30% new oak barrels, lasting for a period of 17 months. Following the assemblage process, the wine is returned to stainless steel tanks for an additional 5-6 months of aging prior to bottling. Vincent Dancer proudly emphasize that the wines are bottled without any fining or filtration. Les Corbins wines are renowned for their opulent texture, capturing the quintessential weight and character of Meursault.
